Logan Funderburk
Logan began playing the piano at the age of 5, starting with lessons at a local music store in a suburb south of Denver, along with his older brother. With a family legacy of piano playing, piano lessons were a given in the Funderburk family, even learning on a the same piano that both his mother and grandfather learned on, which only had 64 of the traditional 88 keys. After a year, he began studying under Rosemary Rogers, who taught him for 12 years. Logan then studied Music and Music Education at the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he met his now wife, Emma. Logan studied under Professor Alejandro Cremaschi; he was trained classically and has a great deal of experience with keyboard music from the 18th century on. His specialty, however, is contemporary art music, especially minimalism and process music.
After graduation, Logan began his career in public schools, which he continues with 7 years of experience in elementary school music classrooms. Students of all ages, 5 to adulthood, are welcome and encouraged to start their own musical journey.

When he’s not playing piano, Logan likes to spend his free time knitting. He is also an avid cook, and spends most nights cooking, and often spends weekends reading about new techniques, ingredients, and flavors. He shares his wife’s love of Disney, and of their two cats.
